Cal Coons is an award winning director/producer/writer and was executive producer (28 episodes) from 2008 - 2010, consulting producer (11 episodes) 2010 and written 7 episodes for Murdoch Mysteries. As co-creator, he developed 51 episode from 2009-2012
A graduate of the respected Canadian Film Centre, Cal has served as Showrunner/Executive Producer on several major dramatic television series including Murdoch Mysteries for CBC/CITY TV/UKTV/ITV, which he also developed for television. Nominated for numerous Gemini awards including Best Series, Murdoch Mysteries is an international hit, airing throughout the world.
