Dee Linford (1915-1971) was a journalist, free lance writer, and magazine editor. He was born in Afton, Wyoming, and graduated from the University of Wyoming. He did newspaper work in Laramie and Rock Springs, Wyoming, before joining the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, where he was editor of "Wyoming Wildlife" for 15 years.
