    Maria Jacquemetton is a writer and producer who, along with her husband André Jacquemetton, wrote the stories for three episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise. She was also a Story Editor for the first season of Enterprise and the name M. Jacque-Metton on the dedication plaque of Enterprise NX-01 is based on her.

    Jacquemetton earned an MS in Film Production from Boston University College of Communication and worked as an assistant in sitcoms after her move to Los Angeles. She is also teaching writing for TV and film at Vancouver Film School, where she serves as Head of the Writing for the Film, Television and Interactive Media Department.

    Prior to her work on Enterprise she also teamed up with her husband and wrote episodes for the television series Highlander: The Raven (1998), Jack of All Trades (2000), Relic Hunter (2000-2001), and Baywatch (2000-2001). Jacquemetton wrote the story for the comedy Billboard Dad in 1998 and the story for an episode of Adventure Inc. in 2003.

    In addition she served as executive producer for the short films I, Stalker (2006), Integrity of the Amish (2007), The Brown Bag Mystery (2007), Fade Out (2007), Father Fred (2007), and Life of the Party (2007), portrayed a surgical assistant in the short comedy Heart of Whistler (2006), and received special thanks for her contribution to the short comedies Go Kill Yourself (2008) and Night of the Living Dead Mexicans (2008).

    In 2007 she joined the production team of the drama series Mad Men and worked as producer, supervising producer, and then consulting producer on the show. In addition she wrote eight episodes throughout the show's run, all together with her husband. Her work on Mad Men also earned her several awards and nominations; as producer she won two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Drama Series in 2008 and 2009 and a Television Producer of the Year Award in Episodic from the Producer's Guild in 2010. As writer she received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series in 2009, two Writer's Guild of America Award nominations in 2008 and 2010, and two WGA Awards in 2008 and 2009. Jacquemetton shared all her awards and nominations with her husband.

    Like most of the cast and crew, she was featured in the special The Making of 'Mad Men' in 2007. In 2011 Jacquemetton and her husband received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series for the Mad Men episode "Blowing Smoke".
