  2. David Attwood (28 August 1952 – 21 March 2024) was a British television and film director. His notable works include the Peabody Award-winning TV film Shot Through the Heart (1998) and the TV miniseries To the Ends of the Earth (2005), which received six BAFTA nominations.

  3. Biography. David Attwood received his Ph.D. in Applied Physics from New York University in 1972. He has been a Professor in Residence at UC Berkeley since 1989. He was co-founder of the Applied Science and Technology Ph.D. program. He has been faculty advisor for the undergraduate Engineering Physics program for 25 years.

  7. Biography. David Attwood is a British filmmaker, director and writer. In 1984, he took the BBC directors' course and quickly progressed to directing feature-length television projects, but it was for Channel 4 that he made his only cinema-released film, "Wild West" (1992).
