Ted Richmond (June 10, 1910 – December 23, 2013) was an American film producer credited with 66 films between 1940 and 1979. He was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Richmond produced films for several studios including Universal Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Columbia Pictures.
Power's involvement meant the film became a co-production with Power's Copa Productions, headed by Ted Richmond. In the interim, Small and Hornblow had made Witness for the Prosecution together which was a hit but they decided to end their partnership.

One month later, the 31 Aug 1962 edition noted that Presley had pre-recorded eight of the compositions, including the title song.
