Dr. Cherie Dawson-Edwards is the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and a Professor for the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Louisville. She also directs the College of Arts & Sciences' Social Change Minor.
Dr. Cherie Dawson-Edwards lives in Louisville and has served on the ACLU of Kentucky's Board of Directors for 14 years. She also represents Kentucky on the ACLU's national board. In May 2021, she was appointed Deputy Equity Affiliate Officer of the national board.
