  2. They named me Carleton Chesmore Eastlake so I’d have eight letters in each of my names. Academic and then Public Health Service appointments for my father carried us to New York, Denver, Portland, and Paris before he left the Service to enter private practice in California.

  3. CARLETON EASTLAKE graduated from UCLA in political science and psychology and from Harvard Law School with a concentration in law and the social sciences. After a career in public policy and consumer protection law, being hired on Steven Spielberg’s series seaQuest confirmed him as a television writer-producer as well.
