What is Lindsay's Law? In accordance with Ohio law, all members must follow and adhere to the Sudden Cardiac in Youth Athletes Law (Lindsay’s Law). The law requires that all youth athletes, parents/guardians, Adult Participants, and Minor Coaches to annually complete a set of requirements prior to participating in any organized sports activity.
Senate Bill 252, known as "Lindsay’s Law" place specific requirements for coaches, athletes and parents into law and went into effect in 2017. These legislative requirements can be found in the Ohio Revised Code (ORC).
