Michael Taylor (born February 15, 1969) is a screenwriter who is best known for his work as a writer for both Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. Taylor is a native New Yorker. He attended The Bronx High School of Science and Yale University.
Leaving the Trek world, he became a writer/producer on the USA series The Dead Zone, based on the Stephen King novel. After five seasons on The Dead Zone, Taylor joined the Syfy channel's Battlestar Galactica as a co-executive producer and wrote the Battlestar TV movie Razor.

Michael Taylor (born 15 February 1969; age 55) was a writer for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. His Deep Space Nine credits include "The Visitor" and "In the Pale Moonlight". Other episodes he was involved in include "Things Past" and "Resurrection". He joined the writing staff of Ronald D. Moore's Battlestar Galactica during its third season.
One of Taylor's favorite episodes is "Counterpoint". He stated, "I liked Counterpoint a lot because it's where the captain has a romance and, sort of in the end, it showed us just how lonely her job is and gave us a foreshadowing of why she had to stay alone throughout the rest of the series." (X)
