Vinnie Wilhelm is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Over the past decade, he has written for a number of acclaimed television shows, including MANHATTAN, THE TERROR, CASTLE ROCK, and PENNY DREADFUL. In addition to TV writing, Wilhelm is also the author of the story collection IN THE ABSENCE.
Vinnie Wilhelm is a native of New Haven, Connecticut. His short fiction has appeared in the Virginia Quarterly Review, the Southern Review , and elsewhere. He spent many years trying to write an extremely long novel that eventually broke his spirit, at which point he ran off to Hollywood and became a TV writer.
