Mar 27, 2021 · After Mark skulks up to his room, Deborah chides Nolan for telling their son to tamp down on his feelings — especially when it’s because he’s upset about Nolan’s friends being dead. After correcting Deborah that the Guardians were only his coworkers, he assures her that he’s too powerful to be killed like the other heroes were.
Mark get an unknown call that keeps calling, and finally turns off his phone. It rings again, and Amber goes to use the bathroom. Once Amber is gone, Cecil teleports in and admits that he's been watching Mark, and that Mark can't have personal privacy if he wants to be a superhero.
Overall, Invincible's "Who You Calling Ugly?" is still an entertaining watch, with a 7/10 rating reflecting its shortcomings. While the teen romance subplot may not appeal to everyone, the episode still offers plenty of captivating moments for fans of the series.
