Matthew John Anderson (born April 18, 1987) is an American professional volleyball player. He is part of the U.S. national team, a bronze medalist at the Olympic Games Rio 2016 and the 2018 World Championship, 2014 World League and 2015 World Cup winner. He is a multiple winner of the CEV Champions League with the Russian club Zenit Kazan.
Member of U.S. Men's National Team since 2008. Has been U.S. Men's leading scorer every season since 2011. Six-time USAV Male Indoor Player of the Year (2012-15, 2018-19) Moved from left-side hitter to opposite (right side) in 2013...started at opposite the majority of the time since.
