May 8, 2022 · Max Borenstein. For my money, Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty is easily one of the best shows on television right now. Even though I don’t care for the Los Angeles Lakers, their story, especially considering the place and time, is incredibly compelling.
Biography. Borenstein wrote, edited, and directed the 2003 film Swordswallowers and Thin Men while a senior at Yale University. The film starred Peter Cellini, Zoe Kazan, Fran Kranz and Graham Norris, and featured Army Wives star Sally Pressman and Midnight's Children lead Satya Bhabha.
