Jeff Beal (born June 20, 1963) is an American composer of music for film, television, recordings, and the concert hall. Highly regarded as a jazz instrumentalist and versatile composer, Beal creates music that often incorporates a synthesis of improvisatory and composed elements. [1]
In 1988, Beal was commissioned to write his first film score, the black comedy CHEAP SHOTS. After relocating to the west coast, Jeff turned his focus towards writing music for visual media – initially taking smaller jobs writing industrials for then startups Pixar and Apple.
