Mar 18, 2022 · Nassau, THE BAHAMAS – University of The Bahamas today announced the appointment of Dr. Ian Strachan to the position of Executive Vice President (EVP) effective 1 st April 2022. Dr. Strachan retains his position as President of the UB-North campus in Grand Bahama.
Ian Strachan is currently Professor of Mathematical Physics and also Head of the School of Mathematics and Statistics, at the University of Glasgow. He is a Past President of the Edinburgh Mathematical Society and hence former member of the Council for the Mathematical Sciences.
