Jun 7, 2021 · Hal Vogel. Daybreak Pictures co-founders David Aukin and Hal Vogel are leaving the Tinopolis-owned UK producer, with the latter launching a new company. Vogel’s Slate Entertainment will work on international scripted projects for both film and TV, and is being backed by Ringside Media, the investment arm of Ringside Studios.
