Fuel is an American rock band formed in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania guitarist-songwriter Carl Bell in 1993. They are known for their hit songs " Shimmer " from the album Sunburn (1998), " Hemorrhage (In My Hands) " and " Bad Day " from the album Something Like Human (2000), as well as " Falls on Me " from the album Natural Selection (2003).

The band would later return in 1997 with the record Hazleton, a four-track extended play that features hits such as “Jesus or a Gun” and “Bittersweet.” Eventually, the band secured a recording contract with Epic Records, (once) home to AC/DC, Bad Religion, Black Sabbath, Chevelle, and The Isley Brothers.
