Meet Tom and Sydnee Watson, 2024 Parade Marshals. Tom and Sydnee Watson have deep roots in the Walla Walla Valley. Sydnee comes from a family of Italian immigrants who farmed mostly sweet onions while Tom’s family of Irish immigrants were also ranchers and farmers.
Tom managed Community Bank branches in Pendleton and Hermiston, and later served as Controller. He was promoted to President and CEO in 2006. Tom has served as Chairman of the Oregon Bankers Association Board and currently serves on the board of Walla Walla Community Hospice.
