Jimmie Spheeris (November 5, 1949 – July 4, 1984) was an American singer-songwriter who released four albums in the 1970s on the Columbia Records and Epic Records labels. Spheeris died in 1984, at the age of 34, after a motorcycle accident.

Aug 8, 2020 · After touring a few years with The Moody Blues and right before the release of his fifth (still unreleased) album, Jimmie Spheeris was killed on July 4, 1984 in Venice Beach by a drunk driver. On that day, the world lost one of its truest musical clowns.
