Emanuel and his wife, Amy Rule, in 2022. Emanuel and his wife, Amy Merritt Rule, have a son and two daughters. As of 2011, their family lived in the Ravenswood neighborhood on Chicago's north side. Rule converted to Judaism shortly before their wedding.
