Feb 9, 2023 · Ben Wasserstein, who oversaw comedy series at HBO, has entered a first look deal at Richard Plepler's Eden Productions. He will develop and produce new projects for Apple TV+, including a series about Benjamin Franklin starring Michael Douglas.
EDEN Productions was founded by Richard Plepler to create meaningful original programming. EDEN signed a multi-year exclusive content deal with Apple TV+ in early 2020. Plepler is the former Chairman and CEO of HBO.
