Guillem Morales (born 1 September 1973) is a BAFTA award winning Spanish filmmaker, screenwriter, and author based in the UK. He is best known for directing the British film The Wasp (2024) as well as writing and directing the Spanish thrillers The Uninvited Guest ( El Habitante Incierto , 2004) and Julia's Eyes ( Los Ojos de Julia, 2010).
Guillem Morales was born in 1975 in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. He is a director and writer, known for Julia's Eyes (2010), Back Room (1999) and The Uninvited Guest (2004).
The series was directed by Guillem Morales and stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Romola Garai and Alex Hassell and first aired in two parts from 26–27 December 2017 on BBC One. In the United States, it aired in three parts from 9–27 September 2018 on PBS's Masterpiece.
