Lady Pink, born Sandra Fabara (born 1964), is an Ecuadorian-born American graffiti and mural artist, active in New York City. Early life [ edit ] Fabara was born in Ambato, Ecuador in 1964, and moved to the Astoria neighborhood of Queens , New York when she was seven years old. [1]
Lady Pink was born in Ecuador, raised in NYC, and currently resides in the countryside north of the city. In 1979 she started writing graffiti and soon became well known as the only female capable of competing with the boys in the graffiti subculture.

Lady Pink, a.k.a. Sandra Fabara (Ecuadorean, b.1964), is a New York-based Graffiti artist. Lady Pink attended the High School of Art & Design. From 1979 to 1985, she worked as a Graffiti artist in New York, especially in the subway system.
