- Hanging with Mr. Cooper. Running from 1992 to 1997 on ABC, Hanging with Mr. Cooper told the story of Mark Cooper (played by Mark Curry) an NBA player who became a substitute teacher, as well as his roommate (Holly Robinson Peete), friends and family (yep, that's Raven-Symoné in one of her earliest roles!).
