David Andrew Warner (born 27 October 1986) is a former Australian international cricketer and a former Test vice-captain. A left-handed opening batsman, Warner was the first Australian cricketer in 132 years to be selected for the national team in any format without experience in first-class cricket.

Warner was a crucial member of Australia’s maiden T20 World Cup win in 2021, finishing the UAE campaign as Player of the Tournament. Warner clinched his second ODI World Cup trophy in 2023, to go with his win in 2015, and finished as Australia's highest run-scorer as they defied the odds in India.
