Atlanta resident Sterling Davis was on a break from a rap tour when he applied for a job at the county shelter scooping kitty litter. He just wanted to stay busy and make a little money.
Sterling Davis, also known as the TrapKing, quit his music career to help community cats in Atlanta. He founded a nonprofit, TrapKing Humane Cat Solutions, to promote trap-neuter-return and bridge the gap between animal welfare and Black communities.
