Anna Paquin (/ ˈ p æ k w ɪ n / PAK-win; born 24 July 1982) is a New Zealand actress. She made her acting debut in the romantic drama film The Piano (1993), for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at age 11, becoming the second-youngest winner in Oscar history.
