Deepak Verma was born on 15. Aug. 1984, in Delhi. He belongs to a middle-class family with two elder siblings. He was the youngest among the three siblings. Due to the family financial crisis, he started working at the age of 17 to fulfill the family's basic needs.
Verma trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. He made his television debut in the Scottish detective series Taggart in 1992. However, he is best known for his portrayal of the adulterous gambler Sanjay Kapoor in the popular BBC soap opera EastEnders (1993–1998).
Deepak Verma is an Indian jurist and a former Judge of the Supreme Court of India. His career in the Indian judiciary includes serving as the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court, acting Chief Justice of the High Court of Karnataka, and holding the position of a judge in the High Court of Madhya Pradesh.
