Guy Edward Pearce (born 5 October 1967) is an Australian [1] actor. He is the recipient of various accolades, including a Primetime Emmy Award as well as a nomination for a Golden Globe Award . He started his career portraying Mike Young in the Australian television series Neighbours.
At age 20, Guy appeared in his first film, Heaven Tonight (1989), then, after a string of appearances in film, television and on the stage, he won the role of an outrageous drag queen in The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994).
