Kathleen Neal Cleaver (born May 13, 1945) is an American law professor and activist, known for her involvement with the Black Power movement and the Black Panther Party, a political and revolutionary.

Kathleen Cleaver was the first woman to become a highly visible leader in the militant Black Panther Party, and one of the few women to emerge as a nationwide symbol of the black power movement. From 1967 to 1971, Cleaver was the Panthers' communications secretary.
