Movie actor known for roles in the films Free State of Jones, A Bad Moms Christmas, and Bad Moms. His portrayal of Older Coleman Brother in the Matthew McConaughey film Free State of Jones won him favorable reviews. He has also appeared as Levi in the TV series Ozark.
One of his brothers encouraged him to act from a young age. He appeared in local stage productions. As a result, he was only 9 years old when discovered by Hollywood.
He enjoys volunteering at a local equestrian rehabilitation facility. In 2019, he played Will Browning in the crime-drama Crooked Letter.
He has two older brothers. His sibling is actor Chase Anthony Cooksey. He and his Christian family grew up in the rural Mississippi town of Meridian and continue to reside there.
