David Duke Carr (born July 21, 1979) is an American former football quarterback who played 11 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Fresno State Bulldogs and was selected first overall by the Houston Texans in the 2002 NFL Draft.

He finally became the starting quarterback in 2000, but it was all about the 2001 campaign for Carr. That year, he led Fresno State to wins over BCS schools Wisconsin, Colorado, and Oregon State.
