Shogo Kubo (September 19, 1959 – June 24, 2014) was a Japanese American skateboarding pioneer and one of the original members of the Z-Boys that formed in Venice, California in 1975. [1]
Shogo Kubo was a founding member of the Z-Boys and a master of style in the 1970s. He influenced many skaters, appeared in documentaries and designed a Nike SB shoe before his death in 2014.
