The Old Point Loma Lighthouse is located in the southern tip of Point Loma. It’s the sentinel of San Diego bay! We learnt that the old lighthouse: - is as high as 422 feet above sea level! - - was built in 1855 and in 1891, the light was extinguished and the keeper moved to a new lighthouse.
