May 3, 2013 · In 1894, Dr. Luke A. Port commissioned the building of this elegant Queen Anne, now known as the Historic Deepwood Estate. Noted Salem architect William C. Knighton, whose other local works include the Oregon State Supreme Court Building and the Bayne Building, designed this house.
