Bertha Benz (German: [ˈbɛʁta ˈbɛnts] ⓘ; née Cäcilie Bertha Ringer; 3 May 1849 – 5 May 1944) was a German automotive pioneer. She was the business partner, investor and wife of automobile inventor Karl Benz .
