Robert Joseph Cousy (/ ˈ k uː z i / KOO-zee, born August 9, 1928) is an American former professional basketball player. He played point guard for the Boston Celtics from 1950 to 1963, and briefly with the Cincinnati Royals during the 1969–70 season.
Bob Cousy played 14 seasons in the NBA, winning six championships and eight assists titles with the Boston Celtics. He was a 13-time All-Star, two-time All-NBA, and MVP in 1956-57.
