Sylvain White (born 21 December 1971) [1] is a French film director and screenwriter. Life and career. Filmmaker Sylvain White was born and raised in Paris, France. At 18 he attended the university of La Sorbonne then earned a scholarship to go to film school in Los Angeles.
Sylvain debuted his smash feature hit Stomp the Yard at number one in the US. He went on to direct the explosive action comedy The Losers starring Chris Evans, Idris Elba and Zoe Saldana.
