Langston University(LU) is a publicland-granthistorically black universityin Langston, Oklahoma. It is the only historically black college in the state and the westernmost HBCUin the United States. The main campus in Langston is a rural setting 10 miles (16 km) east of Guthrie.

Langston University, formerly known as Colored Agricultural and Normal University, was founded as a land grant college on March 12, 1897.

The Langston Campus is the academic and residential home to the majority of University students. Providing an excellent environment inside and outside the classroom, students enjoy a robust and vibrant student life experience.
Oklahoma City (OKC) is one of Langston University’s Urban Campuses. It is located on 7401 North Kelley Avenue in the city’s northeast side. Langston relocated its OKC campus to this site in January 2023. Formerly operated by News 9, the facility was donated by its parent company Griffin Media.
