This is a delightful park, excellently maintained by Chichester District Council and apparently well-used and much appreciated. The site is edged with mature trees and the central area is used for cricket and hockey, with a hedged bowling green. There are two pavilions or club….

Priory Park is one of several open spaces within the relatively small city of Chichester. It is a pleasant enough park, within the city centre area. Sometimes art exhibitions are held in the Guildhall building in the middle of the park. Look out for the mound which once was a Norman castle.
