Osaka Castle Park (大阪城公園, Osaka-Jō-Kōen) is a public urban park and historical site situated at Osaka-Jō in Chūō-ku, Osaka, Japan. It lies on the south of the Ōkawa ( Kyū-Yodo River) and occupies a large area in the center of the city of Osaka. This park is the second largest park in the city.
The Osaka Castle Park is a 100+ hectare sprawling park surrounding the Osaka Castle. It includes gardens, the moats, bridges, and area around the castle. During cherry blossom time, it is spectacular!

The entire Osaka Castle Park covers about two square kilometers with lots of green space, sport facilities, a multi-purpose arena (Osakajo Hall) and a shrine dedicated to Toyotomi Hideyoshi. The park is one of Osaka's most popular hanami spots during the cherry blossom season , which usually takes place in late March and/or early April.

During Cherry Blossoms, the park is filled with food vendors selling all kinds of yummy street food and drinks, and taiko drummers keep you entertained.
