  7. Feb 2019 • Family. Trockner Steg is the main part of the mountain in the Zermatt area, having skied most of them. You can go up one more tram ride to the highest point (Glacier's Paradise) if you want more, but all things really start from Trockner. Here, the trails are both long, steep, and wide.

  8. The best times to visit this trail are June through September. Dogs are welcome and may be off-leash in some areas. This trail is a high-altitude route through the Alpine peaks, leading from Schwarzsee to Trockener Steg and offering fantastic views of the Matterhorn Glacier.
