Jeanne Crain plays Fanny Pierce, a woman driven half mad when a cult of Jesus freak hippies crucifies her minister husband for offending God by taking money collections at church. Three of the men responsible are sentenced to death but the mysterious hooded executioner of the cult is still at large.
