As Tears Go By. Summaries. Mid-level gangster Wah falls in love with his beautiful cousin, but must also continue to protect his volatile partner-in-crime and friend, Fly. A low-level triad "big brother" has a hot-tempered "little brother" who can't keep out of trouble, and consequently is in constant need of being bailed out by his protector.
Ngor has come to Hong Kong from a neighboring island for medical treatment, staying in the apartment of Wah (Andy Lau), a distant cousin. She—and we—soon discover that Wah works with his close friend, Fly (Jacky Cheung), as muscle for a local loan shark.
