- Overall "Carry On Abroad"is the last of the funny and well structured Carry On films. It is not to everyone's taste, the humour is a little dated, but the warmth and chemistry of the cast shines through and it still makes you laugh out loud at some of the jokes.

Carry On Abroad is a 1972 British comedy film directed by Gerald Thomas, the 24th release in the series of 31 Carry On films (1958–1992). [1] The film features series regulars Sid James, Kenneth Williams, Joan Sims, Bernard Bresslaw, Barbara Windsor, Kenneth Connor, Peter Butterworth and Hattie Jacques.
Carry On Abroad lets the actor’s performances and Rothwell’s ribald one-liners come to the fore, without the distractions of fancy costumes, wigs and sets. It certainly won't win over any new converts but for fans it is a film to savour, it was pretty much all downhill after this. Reviewer: Jason Cook.
