Vlad (Ben Cross) is a long-dead vampire who comes back to life while being exhibited in a Mexico City museum. His first thoughts are for his former love and fellow vampire, Angelique (Maryam d'Abo), whom he seeks out. They are reunited, but things get complicated when ordinary human Dr. David Zuckerman (Keith Szarabajka) sees Angelique and falls for her.
