Carnival of Souls. A young woman (Candace Hilligoss) in a small Kansas town survives a drag race accident, then agrees to take a job as a church organist in Salt Lake City. En route, she is haunted by a bizarre apparition that compels her toward an abandoned lakeside pavilion.
After a traumatic accident, a woman becomes drawn to a mysterious abandoned carnival. Mary Henry is enjoying the day by riding around in a car with two friends. When challenged to a drag, the women accept, but are forced off of a bridge.
This weird, offbeat little indie horror movie – a one-off feature from university drama lecturer Herk Harvey – was made, apart from the lead role, with a non-professional cast. It was shot around Harvey ’s hometown of Lawrence, Kansas, about 30 miles west of Kansas City on Highway 70.
