May 18, 1990 · The movie stars Robin Williams as Joey O'Brien, the car salesman, who addresses the audience in confidential asides, like Tom Jones or Alfie. He has a lot of problems, most of them revolving around women. He likes women, he has trouble resisting them, and he spends a lot of money on them.

Cadillac Man is a decent movie with a reasonably well developed plot and a very talented cast. The saving grace of the film is certainly Robin Williams and Tim Robbins, who have a great back and forth with one another, as well as both playing consistently interesting characters that are very different to them.

Joey gets 2 days to sell 12 cars to keep his job and keep his girlfriends happy. It gets worse. He's juggling 3 buyers when a guy with a machine gun crashes into the car dealership and takes everybody hostage.
