      • It's been a long time since there was anything scary about Chucky; he's been a figure of fun rather than fear for most of his 16-year career, so it doesn't really matter that the film makes no great sense. The jokes are lame, but the good-natured Tilly gamely goes with the flow and the effects are actually quite good.
