"Way Past Cool" is an unused song from Sonic the Hedgehog that was originally going to be the theme for the show before it was replaced by Sonic the Hedgehog Title. The song was written and composed by Andy Heyward and Michael Tavera and is notable for making use of a lot of Sonic's well-known catchphrases in the cartoon.
